Buy Ceftin: Your Guide to Cefuroxime

Ceftin (cefuroxime) is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Ceftin is used to treat infections of the skin, respiratory tract, sinuses, ear, and urinary tract. It is also used to treat some sexually transmitted diseases.

Common Uses

Ceftin is used to treat a variety of infections caused by bacteria, such as pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infections, sinus infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections. Ceftin may also be used to treat certain sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhea and chlamydia.

Dosage and Direction

Ceftin is usually taken two to four times a day. It is important to take Ceftin exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking Ceftin without talking to your doctor.

Precautions

Before taking Ceftin, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease, or a history of intestinal problems, such as colitis. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Ceftin may be harmful to an unborn baby. Do not take Ceftin without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Contraindications

You should not take Ceftin if you are allergic to cefuroxime or to other cephalosporin antibiotics. Be sure to tell your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin. Do not take Ceftin if you have had an allergic reaction to any other antibiotic.

Possible Side Effects

Ceftin may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, tiredness, or trouble sleeping. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately: rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing or swallowing, hoarseness, or unusual bleeding or bruising.

Drug Interactions

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Ceftin may interact with other medicines, and some medicines may affect how Ceftin works. Do not start or stop any medicines without talking to your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Ceftin, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at your next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Overdose

If you think you have overdosed on Ceftin, seek medical attention immediately. Overdose symptoms may include dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.

Storage

Store Ceftin at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep Ceftin out of the reach of children and away from pets.
